Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using ILN Marketing ("the Platform") operated by International Legal Network (ILN), you accept these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. Who can use the platform

  • Individuals over 18 years old with legal capacity to contract.
  • Legally constituted companies represented by an authorized person.
  • Users who comply with the laws applicable in their jurisdiction.

3. Account and credentials

  • You are responsible for keeping your password confidential.
  • You are responsible for all activity carried out under your account.
  • Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
  • One account per person. Sharing credentials violates these terms.

4. Use of social network publishing services

The ERP allows you to connect your Meta (Facebook, Instagram, Threads), TikTok, LinkedIn, X, and YouTube accounts to schedule and publish content on your behalf. By using this service, you represent that:

  • You are the owner or authorized administrator of the connected accounts.
  • You have all rights to the content you upload (images, text, video).
  • The content does not infringe copyrights, trademarks, or third-party privacy.
  • You will not use the platform for spam, illegal content, hate speech, impersonation, mass disinformation, or fraud.
  • You comply with the terms of service of each connected social network (Meta Terms, TikTok ToS, etc.).

5. User content

You retain all rights to your content. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and transmit your content solely to provide the service (publishing to the social networks you select).

ILN is not responsible for the content you publish. Social networks (Meta, TikTok, etc.) may remove content that violates their policies. You are responsible for complying with their terms.

6. Advertising campaigns service (Meta Ads)

  • Advertising spend is charged to the card linked to your Meta Ads account — not to ILN.
  • ILN acts as a technical intermediary: it facilitates campaign creation, reading, and management, but does not charge commission on the advertising spend.
  • Every campaign is created initially in PAUSED status. You are the one who must explicitly activate it.
  • ILN does not guarantee campaign results (impressions, conversions, ROI).
  • ILN is not responsible for rejections, suspensions, or blocks of campaigns by Meta.

7. Subscription and payments

  • Using the ERP requires a monthly or annual subscription according to the contracted plan.
  • Payments are processed at the beginning of each period.
  • If you cancel, you may continue using the service until the end of the paid period, with no refunds for unused periods (unless required by law).
  • ILN may modify prices with 30 days' notice by email.

8. Service availability

We aim to maintain 99.5% monthly availability. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service. ILN is not responsible for scheduled posts that fail to publish due to:

  • Outages or API changes by social networks.
  • Access tokens expired or revoked by the user.
  • Content rejected by the social network.
  • Force majeure events.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ILN shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, lost profits, lost data, or lost business opportunity damages. ILN's total cumulative liability is limited to the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

10. Termination

  • You may cancel your account at any time.
  • ILN may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, without refund.
  • Upon account termination, your data is deleted according to the Privacy Policy.

11. Intellectual property

The platform's software, design, trademarks, and content are owned by ILN. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or distribute parts of the ERP without written authorization.

12. Changes to these terms

If we modify these terms, we will notify you by email at least 30 days in advance. If you continue using the service after the effective date, you accept the new version.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Costa Rica. Any dispute will be resolved in the competent courts of San José, Costa Rica.
